Pushed for the Public TV Channel programming—now Channel 16
Pushed for offering a Citizens’ Municipal Academy
Pushing for strategic planning processes
Always supporting citizen involvement through task forces and project information
meetings for the community
Supporting downtown revitalization and development
Supported the school facility study and the building of a new school
Supports user-friendly development processes—easier site plan review, landscaping choices, additional zoning choices, clearer processes
Supports economic development initiatives
Supports the first bike and pedestrian plan, pushed for public review and input
Supports improvement of our parks, including Steele Creek Park
Helped students create and dedicate the Marcello Dinsmore memorial at White Top
